During the fat freezing treatment, fatty tissue is cooled to the extent the fat cells are damaged but all other tissue is unaffected. The destroyed cells and the fat they contain are naturally disposed of by the body as waste.
Though this cryolipolysis treatment is versatile and can be applied broadly across parts of the face and body, the most common treatment areas are the hips, abdomen, inner and outer thighs, ‘love handles, back, arms, ‘double chin’, and areas where skin elasticity needs to be improved.
Depending on the area to be treated, the treatment duration is from 30 – 60 minutes.
